Shweta gives birth to a baby girl

Shweta is perhaps one of those few stars who have allowed a film maker to shoot her delivery. Director Blessy has been over the last couple of months capturing Shweta's various stages of pregnancy for an upcoming Malayalam flick.

   

Shweta's husband Sreevalsan was at her side when she gave birth to a pretty baby girl.

    

Shweta came in the second runner up behind Aishwarya Rai and Sushmita Sen in Miss India contest in 1994. She was also the second runner up in Miss Asia Pacific contest held in Malibu the same year.

    

Shweta had made her mark as an actor even before she walked down the ramp for Miss India contest. Her Bollywood debut, however happened after the Miss India contest..

   

Shweta has acted in 'Ashoka' 'Maqbool' and 'Corporate' before heading down South to act in Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam movies.

   

Shweta feels that pregnancy is one of those special moments in a woman's life and she feels justified in immortalizing it on celluloid.

   

Shweta shot to fame with the Kamasutra ad a couple of years ago.

     

Shweta went into labour and there were three cameras shooting the delivery.

    

Her pregnancy has been immortalised by Blessy in the upcoming movie 'Kalimannu'
