When you think of army brats, the current hottest sensation from Band Baaja Baarat comes first to your mind. With her fit body & bindaas attitude, she looks every bit an army man’s daughter. Colonel Ajay Kumar Sharma (Anushka’s father) served as a Major in the Indian Army. Originally from Garhwal, he was posted across the country. Due to this, Anushka studied in army schools in various cantonments. She graduated with specialisation in arts from Mount Carmel College, Bangalore and tried her hand in modelling after which she got her dream debut with Shahrukh Khan in Yash Raj Productions with 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi'. And as they say, the rest is history! 

Celina Jaitley
Celina was born in Kabul to Colonel V.K. Jaitley & Meeta. Her mother was a nurse in the Indian Army and was an Afghan Hindu. Like her parents, she too wanted to join the army. Although she didn’t taste that much success in Bollywood, she is now content living with her businessman husband and taking care of her recently born twins.

 

Lara Dutta
This leggy lass who recently got married and gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, also hails from an army family. Her father Wing Commander L.K. Dutta is now retired from the services though her elder sister still serves in the Indian Air Force. Her army background helped her learn skills like swimming and public speaking which helped her win the title of Miss Universe and these very skills help her now in Bollywood
