Starring Shahrukh Khan, Katrina
Kaif and Anushka Sharma, the film has also brought together the award
winning pair of A. R. Rahman and Gulzar, who orchestrated by Yash
Chopra, have created some wonderful and poetic music for this romantic
film.
Shah Rukh had been recently shooting in Ladakh for the forthcoming film which is scheduled to release in Nov.
Asked whether his visit would
give a fillip to Kashmir as a Bollywood destination in future, SRK said:
"I am not such a big person that others would follow me, but I have
shot films in Switzerland, Mauritius, London and other places and the
beauty of Kashmir is definitely unmatched by any other place. Inshallah,
other filmmakers will come here to shoot their films in future."
The Shahrukh-Katrina-Anushka starrer film had generated enough curiosity even without its title.
“Yashji likes to keep things
under wraps, so he isn’t revealing the title to anyone, not even his
actors. Whenever anyone asks, he just smiles and says, ‘We will all know
soon.’ All official communication regarding the film refers to it as ‘a
new production’,” a source had said.
When contacted, the film’s
spokesperson says, “Yashji has come up with the final title, but he
isn’t revealing it to anyone.” Rumours were rife that Chopra would
reveal the name of the film on his 80th birthday on September 27.
Apparently, even SRK and Aditya
Chopra had been trying to think of a name. SRK had said, ‘We want a
title to mean something that can’t be destroyed — like love and belief.
Yashji has something in mind. For now, it’s important to know that it’s
my film and it’s coming out on Diwali. Naam mein kya rakha hai?.”
This movie will also team up the
award-winning duo: music maestro A. R. Rahman and the poet and lyricist,
Gulzar who would compose the songs of the film. The film is scheduled
for a Diwali 2012 release, the festive time when Yash Chopra movies over
the years have lit up homes worldwide. Let’s hope this one helps SRK
revive his career
