Veteran actress Tanuja will make a comeback after a long hiatus. She and Sonakshi bonded well and spent a lot of time together. Since they both love reading, they would be seen talking about their favorite books and authors all the time and even recommend books to each other. Tanuja is very fond of Sonakshi and she even cooked some tasty delicious Rajma for her when we were shooting in Patiala. After the daily wrap up, both would stroll around near the farms and enjoy the scenic and that became their routine almost every day.
Juhi Chawla will be seen playing a Punjabi kudi in the film and after a gap of nearly 13 years, she will be seen sharing the screen space with Sanjay Dutt. The duo was earlier seen in the film ‘Safari’ which was released in the year 1999.
Sonakshi has one hidden expertise which no one knows about. Apparently this unknown talent of hers is the street skill of Whistling. This secret was recently unleashed on the sets of ‘Son of Sardaar’ recently. Buzz is that while taking a break in midst of shooting, she kept the cast of ‘SOS’ thoroughly entertained throughout their shoot with her rowdy seetis. Everyone was so amazed that the team on the spot decided to incorporate her whistles in one of the song sequences that was being filmed
Buzz is that Ajay Devgn flew in a turban expert all the way from Punjab multiple times to tie his colorful turban for the action comedy so that it reflects the true style with attention to the minutest details.
On the sets of the film, Ajay Devgn taught Sonakshi to ride a bike. Being a good student, she held her breath and balanced herself perfectly on the two wheels to perform some heart stopping adrenaline pumped stunts on a motor bike for this action comedy.
Known to have a sweet tooth, Sona was challenged by Ajay and Sanjay to eat few chillies at one go. To everyone’s surprise, the actress accepted the task quite sportingly and ate 10 red chillis at one go
While shooting for ‘Son of Sardaar’ at Patiala, the actress spent most of her free time playing and taking care of a Rottweiler puppy Simba. Close to our shooting location was a place where Rottweiler puppies were breaded. When Sonakshi saw this puppy, she loved him so much that whenever she got some time off from her shoot, she would go and play with Simba and the other puppies.
‘Bichdaan’ is Ajay Devgn’s favorite song from the film and is very close to his heart. In the beginning of the Song Ajay has even lend his voice by rendering a shayari , "Bichad Ke Tujh Se Ab Muh Ko Marna Hai Ye Tajurba Aisi Zindagi Me Karna Hai”.
Last he was heard lending his voice to a song was in ‘Diljale’ movie which released in 1996 and it had become a rage amongst his fans.In this song with Madhu in Shaam hai Dhuan Dhuan he says "Arzoo Jhooth hai Kahaani hai, Arzoo ka fareb khanna nahi, Khush Jo rehna ho zindagi mein tumhein, Dil Kisi se kabhi laganna nahi'"
